Chicken Paella

Ingredients

1 + 1/2CupsWhite Rice
2CupsChicken Broth

--Turmeric
--Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Dice the onions, peppers, and mushrooms
  2. Remove fat from the chicken and cut into approximately 2 cm cubes
  3. Crush the garlic
  4. Heat a pan on high heat
  5. Add the onions, peppers, and garlic
  6. Cook until they begin to soften, stirring often
  7. Add the chicken, cooking for approximately 1 minute on each side or until they change color
  8. Add the mushrooms, diced tomatoes, rice, and chicken broth
  9. Add the spices and mix thoroughly
  10. Bring to a boil
  11. Simmer and cover
    1. Stir occasionally
  12. Once the rice is fully cooked and the chicken broth is mostly absorbed, cook for a few minutes uncovered
  13. Remove from heat and serve
