Ingredients

1CupChopped Nuts (Almonds / Pistachios / Cashews)
1CupShortening
1CupSugar
1CupBrown Sugar
2-Eggs (beaten)

Instructions

  1. Sift flour with other dry ingredients
  2. Add the nuts and mix to coat them
  3. Cream shortening and add the sugars gradually, creaming well
  4. Add the eggs and stir to blend well
  5. Add the dry ingredients (approximately 1/41/4 cup at a time), blending well
  6. Divide the dough into three parts and shape each into a roll
  7. Wrap the rolls in wax paper and refrigerate
  8. When ready to bake, slice into thin slices
  9. Bake for 101210-12 minutes at 350°F350\degree F
