Ingredients

1 | Cup | Chopped Nuts (Almonds / Pistachios / Cashews) |
1 | Cup | Shortening |
1 | Cup | Sugar |
1 | Cup | Brown Sugar |
2 | - | Eggs (beaten) |
Instructions
- Sift flour with other dry ingredients
- Add the nuts and mix to coat them
- Cream shortening and add the sugars gradually, creaming well
- Add the eggs and stir to blend well
- Add the dry ingredients (approximately cup at a time), blending well
- Divide the dough into three parts and shape each into a roll
- Wrap the rolls in wax paper and refrigerate
- When ready to bake, slice into thin slices
- Bake for minutes at
